I would like to thank the derby committee for putting their time in to run a successful derby. I would like to thank Rick Dwinnell for the computer updates as it is nice to have live updates and there would be no live updates without him.
It was stated at the closing ceremonies that the salmon will be in the area in a couple of weeks and blamed the shortage of salmon on the weather. Anyone who thinks this should look at Dwindle's Dream catch reports. If the salmon are out there, Dwindle's Dream would be catching salmon. In 2015, in June, July, and August, Dwindle's Dreams to date has caught 7 salmon for a total of 43lbs. It is easy to conclude the Chinook are few and far between at least in the Kincardine area. There are many reasons why the Chinook are few and far between but one of them is a lack of baitfish.
Once again, thanks to the committee and especially Rick Dwinnell.
Thanks Peter
