How about going back to the old boundary that was only on lake Huron? There is already a large salmon derby that includes those areas being the owensound classic. I thought this was suppose to be the largest Lake Huron derby? There is an unfair advantage up there in that they can fish many days when Lake Huron is rough. I don't believe that the extension in fishing boundary has brought in a huge increase in ticket sales so lets go back to the way the derby was with only fishing Lake Huron waters and level the playing field.

I disagree as i can only fish this two weeks as i have to choose my vaca. So , with the new areas I can now fish more days as I fish both sides no problem. also if that happens , most of my friends will switch to the salmon spectacular, as will my crew.

I agree with your idea. Why call it "Lake Huron' largest fishing derby" if it includes Georgian Bay's waters? Many do not have the luxury of fishing both sides.i would be innerested to know the numbers. How many fish weighed in are from Georgian Bay? What are their weights? Got.a feeling after knowing those numbers i might agree with a petition to change the name to ?Georgian Bay's second largest fishing Derby".
